For many years, the North Tama County Community School District has worked hard to be a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars and has continually looked for ways to reduce the impact on taxpayers. This has resulted in the district consistently maintaining one of the lowest school tax rates in the state and region. For fiscal year 2024, North Tama's school tax rate is lower than 96% of all districts statewide.
