Secondary:

  1. Have a great long weekend! 
  2. Give your Teachers Busy Work!! Do you have spare change lying around? Want to watch your teachers spend a class period counting money? If your answer is yes to either of these questions, the Delay the Day event is for you! This event will happen on Wed., Apr. 7th. Bring your coins and/or cash to any of your classes. Before class officially starts, the teacher will count the money you bring. Class period with the most money donated will get a pizza party! All proceeds go to CHAT (Christian Hands Across Traer). If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Walston or an NHS member. 
  3. Weight Lifting: Weight Lifting Schedule  

 

Junior High:

  1. Make sure to look at the weightlifting schedule.

 

High School:

  1. Girls BB: There will be a High School Girls Basketball meeting in the FCS room TODAY during WIN Time.  Please bring your practice and JV game gear to turn in. 
  2. Prom Dress Resale: Any students needing a prom dress may stop in A Wild Hair on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to try on dresses between now and April 24th.
  3. Manager/Lifeguarding at the Traer Pool: Adults interested in managing the pool should see Trish. If you were a lifeguard last summer, please see Trish! If you are interested in being a lifeguard at the Pool this summer, stop in the Secondary office. Lifeguards must be 15 years of age.
  4. Seniors: 
    1. Photos Needed: If you haven’t turned in your senior photo and baby photo to Trish, please do so.
    2. Scholarship Info: 
      1. Visit https://northtama.dollarsforscholars.org/ to learn more about their $1,000 scholarships available for NT seniors. Make sure to fill out the FAFSA first to complete your D4S application. The deadline to apply is April 20th!
      2. The North Tama Distinguished Creativity Scholarship. This scholarship is for seniors who have been accepted to an accredited 2-4 year college, university, or trade school. This is for seniors pursuing a career where creativity is important: music, design, drama, dance, art, writing, teaching, etc. Applications are in the Secondary Office. The deadline to apply is April 16th.
    3. Please remember to bring your college acceptance letter to Trish. This also applies to military enlistment, community college, and apprenticeships. Your photo will be taken and shared on social media, and your letter hung in the main office. 

 

Early Dismissal for Athletics:

Boys Track: dismiss at 2:35, bus leaves at 2:45

Boys/Girl Track: dismiss at 2:35, bus leaves at 2:45
